Elevate your sewing skills with our comprehensive 6-week course, "Mastering Denim in 6 weeks." This course is designed for individuals with sewing experience who are eager to tackle the art of denim construction. Over the span of six weeks, you will learn advanced techniques and concepts to create a perfectly fitting pair of jeans or a stylish denim skirt. What to Expect: Week 1: Introduction & Pattern Selection Learn about different denim types, choose your project (jeans or skirt), and begin with pattern selection and adjustments. Week 2: Cutting & Preparing Fabric Master the art of cutting denim, transferring patterns, and prepping your fabric for sewing. Week 3: Seams & Topstitching Dive into sewing sturdy seams and professional topstitching techniques that give denim its signature look. Week 4: Zippers & Pockets Get hands-on experience with inserting zippers and creating functional, stylish pockets. Week 5: Waistbands & Hemming Focus on constructing a comfortable waistband and perfecting your hemming technique for a polished finish. Week 6: Finishing Touches & Fitting Apply final adjustments, add decorative elements, and ensure your jeans or skirt fit like a dream. However, the class may fill up before in-person registration days so register as soon as possible to secure your spot. Registration Rules: 1. First Come, First Served: Spots in each class are limited to ensure personalized attention. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. 2. Payment: Full payment is required at the time of registration to secure your spot in the class. 3. Cancellation Policy: If you need to cancel, please notify us at least 72 hours in advance for a full refund. No-shows will not be refunded. 4.
