I was so overwhelmed by the technical requirements of the course that I actually found myself searching to see if I could pay someone to do my online exam just so I could spend my weekend figuring out how to thread my vintage machine without breaking another needle. Thankfully, I managed to push through both, and honestly, the focus I found while working on my first upcycled denim project was exactly the mental break I needed to clear my head for the test. Looking back, those late nights at the sewing table really taught me that having a creative outlet is just as important as the academic stuff, and I’m so glad I stuck with it!
